Perpetual Comics is all about making life easier for people who love to buy comics. The company was formed when a group of friends decided they were tired of paying retail price for comics. So, we formed Perpetual Comics and opened the doors to anyone else who wanted to partake of a good discount.

What Are the Benefits?
First and foremost - a 30% discount off the price of nearly every item in Previews. Since the skeptics are shaking their head at this point, I'll address "nearly" in the next item. The other main benefit is that anything that's in Previews is available to you. We are not a store that is ordering a certain genre or doesn't carry certain items. Perpetual Comics basically acts as a middleman between you and the distributor. Anything they make available to us, is available to you. What's more, every order we place is an order for a customer - we are not gambling on what people may or may not want, nor are we trying to take advantage of the latest "hot" comic. In addition, there are lots of other benefits to being a Perpetual customer. Every month that you receive a package of comics look carefully - there will be something free inside. Promotional posters, free comics, header cards - you name it. Also, every comic gets bagged - free. Another thing that you can take advantage of as a Perpetual customer is that there is no minimum order and no monthly fees. While other mail order services require them, we simply don't believe in them.
What does "nearly" every item mean? Certain items listed in Previews require that an entire case of something be purchased. The most common examples of this are packs of cards or toys. Many of these items are not sold to us in single units, therefore, we cannot offer them as single units. For example, the Wolverine Movie action figure was not made available as a single figure - only as a part of the X-Men Movie action figure case. We could not sell you the action figure, but we would be able to sell you the case. So you need to check your order form carefully to be certain of what the cover price for these type of items actually is (for those ordering online, the price online is correct for ordering).

Why are some things that are listed in Previews not available on-line?
We have intentionally eliminated certain items from our online catalog. Specifically, this is material which is indicated as adult material (not mature titles - adult titles). We will not sell these via the internet, however they are available through our mail order catalog. Please note though, that orders for these adult items will not be mailed to you until after we have a photocopy of your ID indicating you are over 18.

What if I order something and it gets delayed or cancelled?
Every month you will receive an order package from us. In this package will be a statement of all of the books you have ordered but have not yet come in, so delayed books are traceable. When an item gets cancelled, we issue a credit for that item and you will receive a statement that will allow you to either apply that statement to an order or redeem it for cash.

Do you handle international orders?
Not at this time - we expect to open this up in the near future - hopefully by Spring of 2001.
